STARTING WITH SUSTAINABILITY
WE WILL ALWAYS PUT PEOPLE AND PLANET FIRST...
We are lucky enough to be in an early position in our business, meaning we can check our whole supply chain is low impact before working with them.
We will be publishing full sustainability information very soon, but for now here's some key things we are working on so far.
As we are a startup we are staying as flexible as possible with our products to ensure we can offer you plenty of design options and styles.
Our hoodies, sweaters and tees are produced by an ethical Fair Wear accredited manufacturer in Bangladesh. They also hold GOTS certification (Global Organic Textile Standard) and are vegan friendly.
We are using a DTG (direct to garment) printer who prints to order. They use low impact OEKO-TEK approved print methods including a non toxic water based ink. DTG provides a high quality print finish and is guaranteed to last the lifetime of the garment. It also allows us to play with colour and photographic quality print without additional costs.
Once we gauge order volumes and size splits, we will screenprint these garments and hold stock... but right now we are keen not to waste any stock or sizes.
When these garments come out of the packaging, they can sometimes smell of a chemical which has derived from the curing process of the ink. Their advice is to air or wash the garment. This is non toxic.
LIMITED EDITION TEES
The really special ones!
As we take pre orders for our limited edition tees we will be getting them hand screen printed by a local talented artist based in Kendal.
We also add a special hem label and some extra goodies in the bag. They make a lovely gift!
RIDE & ACTIVEWEAR
We are currently working with manufacturers to bring you sustainable technical wear to use on your rides, runs and hikes. Watch this space!
Our packaging is 100% plastic free. We use paper mailing bags from sustainable FSC sources. They are even compostable & biodegradable... but even better if you reuse them to ship something else.
Check out our 10 / Trees Project for our first positive impact project. We are also exploring other charities to support throughout 2020.
